O Eternal God, behold me prostrate before the throne of your divine Majesty; in humble adoration, I offer you all my thoughts, words and actions of this day. I intend to do all for you, for your love and glory, to obey your divine will, to serve you, to praise you, to obtain knowledge of the mysteries of faith, to make more sure of my salvation, to increase my hope in your mercy, to satisfy your divine justice for the many and great sins I have committed, to relieve the souls in purgatory, to obtain the grace of true conversion for sinners; in a word, I wish to perform all the actions of this day, in union with the pure intention of Jesus and Mary during their mortal life, in union with all the saints and angels of heaven, and with the just upon earth. I would wish to seal this intention with my blood; I would wish to repeat it every moment of my life, and to continue it forever. Accept, O my God, this my intention; grant me your divine blessing with the grace so efficacious, that I may never fall into mortal sin, but more especially, that I may avoid sin this day.

Moreover, I desire to gain during this day all the indulgences attached to words or actions of mine. I desire to assist at all the Masses celebrated today on earth, and apply the fruits of them to the relief of the poor souls in purgatory, that they may be delivered from their sufferings. Amen.
